First off, OpenOffice is not Microsoft Office. It is a Microsoft Office knock-off made by Sun Microsystems years ago. It didn't sell well enough to make it as a viable product, so they give it away for free now. It has a dated interface and capabilities. If you want to try it out - go ahmicrosoft word free downloadead - it's free and not terrible, but don't expect it to be as good as Microsoft Office.
You can download genuine, not pirated Microsoft Office 2010 beta for free. You can enjoy using the beta until October 2010. Microsoft Office 2010 goes on sale in June:
