There was a song that I heard on the radio in the 90s that went as follows:
"Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey, I'll never never, let you go'
Then 'I'm going to get your love so sweet' 'You are my Candy Girl'
It was a COVER of the The Archies song - but was not by the Archies. There was a male voice making rappy lyrics in the middle (sounded like Shaggy).
It was fast and clubbycandy girl song lyrics sounding. There was a female singer and she sang 'huuuuuney' for a long time.
I've searched long and hard to find this song usingthe lyrics - with no luck - Can you help?
All I can figure is that the song has a different title to the lyrics. Thanks
It may be CJ Lewis's "Sweets for my sweet." Good Luck! P.S Bob Marley also did a cover of "Sugar, Sugar".
I'm confounded as to candy girl song lyricswhat this could be.I've tried googling it to death a million different ways to no avail.I don't think that its the C.S Lewis guy or the Bob Marley cover your looking for but I just don't know.Sorry man.
The correct title name is
Sweets For My Sweets, try googling it for the singer
CJ Lewis-Sweets for my Sweet
