what helps you sleep betterWhat helps you sleep better, ativan or seroquel?

I have been prescribed both to used as needed for sleep (not together obviously). Which one helps you sleep better?
Seroquel is great for sleeping. Nice solid drowsy effect. Ativan's never done much for me. They affect people differently, though - try them both.
Sure. "Try them both." Be sure you read up about side effects for Seroquel including suicidality. BTW only Ativan is a tranquilizwhat helps you sleep betterer. Fatigue and drowsiness from Seroquel is a SIDE EFFECT. Nobody should be taking Seroquel (an atypical antipsychotic) so that they can sleep!

Seroquel has a shorter half-life (6 hours) versus ativan which is 9-16. Therefore you will have less drowsiness issues in the morning with seroquel. Can't say which helps more. But seroquel is a bipolar/schizophrenwhat helps you sleep betteria med used off-label for insomnia, ativan is a benzodiazepine and therefore an anti-anxiety med. You do not want to take ativan long-term.
definatly seroquel, but expect to still be drowsy in the morning if its the first time you take it.
Those are great drugs, but if you REALLY want to get to sleep I would recommend ecstasy!
depends on dosage amount but in my case...Seroquel
